Shops are located in every lobby and in the Plaza Mexicana Shopping Centre next to the Colonial lobby. There are also shops and vendors at the towel palapa beside the Beach pool and the building by the pier beside the Marina bar. The different shops sell a variety of souvenirs, supplies, clothing, jewellery, liquor, cigars, snacks, medication, etc. Feel safe in the knowledge that if you run out of something, you should be able to purchase it at one of the shops. The prices are not low but it saves you a trip into town.

Tobacco

Do they sell American brand cigarettes on site at the Tobacco shops? Are they cheaper in Mexico than the US? We're heading to the Barcelo Maya Trpoical in 11 days & would like to know if we should buy them at the Barcelo or before we leave the US. Thanks!
